Renewable energy SMEs are the engine for the growth of clean energy sector. Business Development Services (BDS) plays a critical role in strengthening and enabling these SMEs to reach their full potential. The Energy Enterprise Coach (EEC) is a flagship initiative that offers the best skills, services and expertise in business development services to support professionalisation of SMEs working in the clean energy sector in Africa and Asia (see target EEC countries here), to foster their growth and development. Conceptualised and funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Energising Development (EnDev) partnership, EEC’s core aim is to provide an inclusive, solution- oriented approach to support a number of renewable energy enterprises (encompassing at least 25% women-owned) in order to accelerate their growth trajectory towards investment readiness.

The EEC E-Learning platform accepts applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply right away! EEC’s cohort training and mentorship services are available only in EEC target countries (see here).
